The Best Examples

Our children are the best examples. They are so Christ-like. Chloe just started pre-school at the high school. One of the high school student teachers is in my Sunday School class and she shared this story with me today.
Chloe had a table full of pre-school kids that she was serving play food. You can just see Chloe bustling around pretending to feed everyone. But just as everyone was about to start "eating", she said, "STOP! We need to say a prayer first." She made everyone fold their arms and the student teacher offered the prayer.
Children are humble and always willing to share their sweet, simple testimonies. They always stand as witnesses of Christ. Thank you Chloe!

Clumsy Chloe

Chloe had a rough couple weeks. He started with a cracked chin by slipping in the tub. Just like her mom oh so many years ago! They she cracked her head open on the fireplace. We were playing a roughty round of duck duck goose and it got out of hand. Poor Chloe!
But you know what? Even though she needed stiches or glue both times we didn't have to go to the ER. That is one of the perks of being married to a doctor. He just glued it right up. Chloe loves her Dad!

Blue Eyes

Can you believe those blue eyes?! Talented Ali was nice enough to take Rhett's one year old pictures. This cute boy is a joy. He loves food, music, learning to do stairs, has 12 teeth, gives kisses, barks like a dog, and says the following words: ma, dada, bye-bye, ball, uh-oh, and deer. Love you Rhett!

Tanko Turned One

Rhett goes by the following names: Fred, Freddie, and Tanko. Tanko because he is a tank. He is such a big boy and a joy to have around.

Rhett was helping me clean up for his party.

Tank cake for "Tanko"

Party Time

The month started with Kyle and I getting to go to some great holiday parites. It was so much fun to dress up. Finally it was like I had prom date that I actually liked!!!!

Always a party with my mom. She took such great care of us and even recovered our couches. We love her!

What is a party without a beef stick? I ate a little too much beef stick this year. Thinking of you Grandpa Hobbs!

Paper Party! Rhett eats about as much paper has he does food. Maybe that is why he is so regular?!

Stocking party. New stockings, PJs, and slippers. Thanks Mrs. Santa.

Present Party!

Santa brought Chloe a kitchen and made her dreams come true.

Luke got a bow. He wants to be just like dad.
