Halloween

Such a fun Halloween! We had a great dinner with the Shepherd's and then we ransacked their neighborhood. The kids made a killing and got a ton of chocolate. Yeah for ME!!!!

Halloween in a big deal in St. Louis. People have big bonfires and decorate their garages. They also expect the kids to have a joke inorder to get candy. We did not know this, but Luke made up a joke on the fly! Here is his made up joke.
"What did the ghost say to the spider?"...
"Whooooooooooose is going!"

Fall Fun!

Luke lost tooth #2!

Hanging out while I rake leaves. Something I have to do ALL the time. So many trees. I have filled up about 10 HUGE trash cans full of leaves and I am not done yet!

A sweet lady in our ward made these for our kids. Thank you! They LOVE them!

My Hallween dessert gone bad. Before the car ride..... 1 second after being in the car began. I needed a better design!

Carving Pumpkins

Rhett eating raw pumpkin.

Final product!

Visiting the McGregors!

Girl time! Chloe loved hanging out with Mara and Macey. She wishes she had a sister!

Zoo! The penguins are so close we could almost touch them.

First Lost Tooth!

Luke lost his first tooth!!! It was so exciting. Every night Kyle has been taking a tissue and cranking on it pretty good till it bleeds. Finally Saturday night is came out. Even Erin and Johnny Balagna got to witness it. They came from Springfield for the evening to catch up. So good to see them!
My family will laugh at this video because it is slightly reminiscent of my "first lost tooth video". I was slightly more dramatic, but Luke has a little of me in him!

Luke got to put his tooth in the "tooth fairy" pillow Kyle used when he was little and he got a dollar. Luke has been sleeping with the pillow for over a week just incase his tooth fell out. Thanks Grammy for passing it down:)

Haning' Round the House

We are enjoying the fall here. This is my favorite time of year... no humidity, no tornadoes, and no snow! We go on walks every night and try to soak up every last bit of daylight.

Here are some pics of us just bummin' around the house

We call this "Rhett takin' a knee". He is constantly in this football stance and he loves to play with balls. He throws them and chases after them. Next Peyton Manning?

Maybe this is where Chloe got it!

Rhett's favorite place. He eats more than Chloe and about as much as Luke. He eat everything I put in front of him, even all his veggies.

Funny face:)

This is how Chloe wears headbands because of her glasses.

Ali's Pictures

Ali was so nice to take picture of our kids for us. Thanks Ali! You did a great job!

Odds and Ends

This is what else we have been up to...

Playing outside.

Chillin' at the Zoo.

KC Reunion in St. Louis.

Playing at the Arch with the Barkers.

We were quite the gang with 7 kids following us around all over the sites in St. Loui!

Enjoying the temple. It is wonderful to be so close.

Picking peaches. Oh so good. I made Hilary's famous peach pie. To die for!

Kindergarten

Luke started Kindergarten! The first few days were a little rough. Infact, that experience was the inspiration for the talk I gave in Stake Conference this weekend.

He has adjusted so well and LOVES school. In less than a month he is sounding out words on his own and writing phrases about the pictures he draws. It is so fun to see him grow and learn.
