Double Trautwein Time!

This summer was one of my favorites ever! But back to school. Now Trautwein Elementary will have two McClintock's. It will just be me and Rhett chilling at home. One kid! That's crazy!
Luke's first day of 2nd Grade. Mrs. Hardin is his teacher.
Chloe's first day of Kindergarten. Mrs. Wolff is her teacher.
Rhett wishes he could go!
Walking to the bus stop. They are good friends. I'm so glad Chloe has Luke. He is a good brother.

Hobbs Family Reunion 2013

This was our first official Barry Hobbs Family Reunion. We went camping in the Uintas. It was our first camping trip and our kids had a blast. Our only mishaps were that Luke feel in the lake (completely submerged) while fishing and Rhett burnt his hand in the fire. We survived
 Fishing action
 Chloe caught the first fish!
 Campfire time
Rhett has his own personal tent. He was super cozy!
 Luke's catch
He even ate it all up!
I'm a looker when we camp. Why do guys never look bad?
Rhett had to be Michael Jackson after he burnt his hand.

 Who doesn't love sparklers
This is a rare occasion, playing with dad and in a swim suit

Rides at Lagoon. Possibly the most fun we have ever had. It was a dream day!
 Cooling off with slushies
Man they are ripped. And of course my kid is the whitest one. I wonder why?
Pioneer Day. These girls playing dress up caused a ripple effect. This turned into this...
 and this turned into this.....
Can you believe my mom owns this much pioneer garb? Too many pioneer day parades and hand cart pushing hikes. So call Lorie if you need an outfit.
Hanging out by Uncle Jake's cool car.
 Boating. Our fav
 Rhett loves the boat.
A beautiful Utah evening with Poppa.
Rhett and Holden becoming good buddies.
 These girls are so beautiful.
It is few a far between that they get together. We are just missing Kelsey.
My old stomping grounds. Go Cougs!
We snuck in the stadium. Had to be done.
Chloe's birthday morning at Makenzie's. Thanks for the donuts Seth.
Rhett smudging up Grandma Hobbs' perfectly clean sliding class door.
Off-roading with Grandpa. It was the like clown car of 4wheelers!

Parties Galore

Chloe turned 5 and Luke turned 7 and I had yet to throw a big friend birthday party for them.....
so I decided to go all out. So much FUN!!!

Chloe's Princess Party included a magic carpet cake walk, pass the poisonous apple, lantern making, hide the glass slipper, pin the kiss of the frog, mermaid race, dance party, crown decorating, and cupcake decorating! Man I out did myself.:)

Luke had a Ninja Party and it was based on a Ninja training camp. They had to master a ninja skill to get a prize and move onto the next exercise. It included ninja name decoding, "Sensei Says", chopstick challenge, an obstacle course (which included splitting a board with their bare hands!) and ninja balloon piƱata. By far the coolest party activity every.

The kids had to knock the balloons down with their swords and then pop the balloons to get the candy! It was a major hit!
