Merry Christmas 2009

We hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday! We had a wonderful time with family. My heart always drops when the Christmas season is over and I get a small case of the post-vacation blues, but I need to try and keep the Christmas spirit with me all year. I can serve, love, give gifts, and most of all think of my Saviour.
Look for more pictures to come of Christmas Day!

Nutrition Counseling

A great friend of mine from college has her own nutrition counseling, speaking, and culinary business that she started. Her name is Marci Anderson and she is located in Cambridge, MA, but I think she works long distance. She is a licensed Registered Dietitian, has tons of experience, and is very qualified. Her website is http://www.marcird.com/ and she also has a blog that is on my blog list. So check her out! If you like what you see add her blog to your blog list. New Kitchen

Here is our new kitchen. It was a fast, pretty painless week of construction and now I don't feel like I am living in someone elses filth. They also put a sink with an actual countertop in the downstairs bathroom. Now we just have to live here another 30 years until they do the upstairs bathroom!

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from Luke! He loves to sing. He gets a little confused when he tries to be an Indian and pats his head instead of his mouth. Opps!

Chloe has a total hat obsession. Most of her hours awake involve some sort of hat! HAT-E!!!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a blast. As we were trick-or-treating Luke kept saying "I WANT TO GO TO THE NEXT HOUSE"!!!!! And any time he saw some one he would say, "Hey, I'm Luke the Fireman"! He seriously loved it. And Chloe kept saying what sounded like, "trick-or-treat, quack, quack". We enjoyed our holiday and now we look forward to our new kitchen. I will send pictures when it is done.

Chloe is ONE!

Chloe is one. Thank you for your phone calls, cards, and gifts!! Here are some things we love about Chloe.

1) We love her smile and her dimples.

2) Her chubby cheeks and thighs.

3) Her pink, plastic, googly, glasses.

4) Her duck imitation. QUACK, QUACK!!

5) Her Miss American wave.

6) Her laugh and how she gives kisses.

Lisa gave Chloe Bam-Bam hair, and she doesn't like it!!

She has frosting all over her glasses, but she didn't care because all she could think was "CUPCAKE!!!"

She stuffed her mouth as full as she possibly could. A girl after my own heart.

Luke's 3rd Birthday

Luke turned 3 today. Thank you for all the phone calls, cards, and gifts! We have done a lot of celebrating. Yesterday he played his first round of miniature golf, and absolutely loved it. Then today we had a few of his friends over for cake. We made a fire truck cake, but it is pink. No matter how much red food coloring I put in it would not turn red. Oh well, he was just happy it was a ice cream cake with donut wheels.
Luke is also potty trained. He stays dry all day and night. I can't believe he has mastered it so quickly. Whenever has has to go #2 he looks at me and says, "You close door and I'll pee". He loves his privacy and he could sit all day long on his potty seat sometimes. He got a junior set of golf clubs for ditching the diapers. The day he got them all he could say over and over again was, "I love my golf club bag!"

Chloe is almost one. She has cut three teeth, which means she has been very cranky. We love her so much and look forward to celebrating her birthday!
