November

This is the season of traveling for our family. Here are the highlight of the last month.
Chloe is growing up so much. And literally she is growing. She already weighs 15 lbs 6 oz and she has fat rolls from her chin to her ankles.
Kyle shot 3 deer this hunting season. Two bucks and a doe. This is the bigger of the 2. Can you tell he was a little excited?
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs' for Thanksgiving. The WHOLE family was there. It was a blast. Luke could not get enough of his Grandma reading books to him and his cousins.
Luke and Chloe got to hang out with their great Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs.
Jennifer spent Thanksgiving Day with us. It was her first encouter with Chloe and I think she is hooked like everyone else. It was so great to see her and catch up.
It is finally truly cold here in Kansas City. Luke's cheeks and nose get so red in the cold weather. It cracks me up.

Halloween Fun

Thanks to Kyle's great idea Luke and Chloe were a cowboy and indian. Tiff let me borrow her pattern and Makenzie helped me cut out and sew the costumes. Seriously, I hate to brag, but they are so stinkin' cute. Luke had so much fun trick-or-treating and Chloe walked around with us the whole time. She was just happy as can be to be outside with all the camotion. Halloween night was in the high 60's, which made trick-or-treating perfect, and when we were done we just sat on our porch and Luke loved to hand out candy and see all the costumes.

Our kids are growing up!

Luke and Chloe are growing up so fast! Here are some cute pictures from the last month.

Look at those eyes! They are so blue.

Luke is sharing some tummy time with Chloe.
She doesn't hate it as much as Luke did.

I don't know what it is, but somehow we tend to all wear the same color. It happened to Kyle and I on our first date. Even the other day we both had on our Stanford shirts without realizing it and pretty much were exact twins. How embarassing!!!
Kyle shot this nice 8 point a few weeks ago. Luke went with him to take it to the butcher. When Luke saw the deer he kept saying "big deer dad" and when he got home he told me it was "HUGE!" He also calls Kyle's binoculars "hunting mirrors" and he came up with that on his own.

Makenzie and Bowen came to visit. We had a blast. Bowen just fit right in with Luke and Chloe.

Chloe's Blessing

We had a great September. Having two kids is going smoothly. It helps that Luke is becoming more independent and Chloe is a happy baby. The only complaint I have about life is Kyle's school. This first section has been so demanding that we work hard everyday to not kill each other!

We almost lost the Malibu this month, but seriously through lots of prayers and a miracle she was brought back to life. We are so thankful that we do not have to go with one car or buy a new one. We will drive her till she dies!

So you can tell it is hunting season because Luke got into the camo face paint. He thinks he looks a like and tiger and goes around saying "ROAR!!!!" all day.

Both Chloe and Luke had doctors appointments this month. They are both healthy and strong. Chloe weighs 12 pounds already. She is so great. She sleep 7-9 hours every night. When we got home from the doctor, Luke was all about putting his stickers on Chloe's face and hair. She goes along with all of Luke's crazy ideas.

These are the first tears that Luke inflicted upon his sister. He was doing a somersault (which he does perfectly), but landed on Chloe's head. It was very traumatic for her!

Chloe was blessed a few Sundays ago. My mom made the most beautiful blessing dress out of silk and she smocked the neck-line. I saw a blessing dress just like it even before I had Luke, and knew that is what I wanted for my girls. We took a picture of it and of course my mom re-created it perfectly. Thanks mom!

More Chloe!

Here are some more pictures of Chloe. And also one of Kyle on his first day as a second year med student. That is a tradition in our family and I MADE Kyle pose funny for the picture. He thinks I am such a dork.

It was wonderful to have my mom here. She and Luke had the best time! It is making the transition so nice. Chloe is continuing to be a perfect baby. I am sure I will have my moments, but we are doing well so far!
